Where are they now?
Things have been extremely busy since starting the Chef's Wife series. I have cooked on stage with Paula Dean, participated in the taste of the NFL and cooked on a feature film! I've also been invited to Flavor, Quality of American Meals hosted by the Culinary Institute of America (Napa) and University of California Davis, invited to Receive the Masters of Taste Award and recently traveled for fun to Ireland and to Niagra on the Lake (awesome eating)! Executive Chef Desmond Fannin is currently the District Executive Chef with Sodexo/Jackmont at Atlanta Public Schools. This follows a rewarding stint at the Federal Reserve Bank, where he served as Executive Chef of all operations including the Executive Dining Room. He's an up and coming superstar with his Southern fusion culinary style.
Executive Chef Jeff Bacon was recently elected to the Nation Board of Directors for the American Culinary Federation as Vice President of the SE Region and has also served as Education Committee Chair for the American Culinary Federation Southeast Regional Conference (2004), and currently serves on the American Culinary Federation’s National Internal Audit Committee.
