Michelle C. Lucas—Sous Chef & Lead Chef Instructor
Chef Michelle C. Lucas, is a chef instructor at the Orlando Culinary Academy since 2002. She is a Certified Hospitality Educator, Certified Culinary Educator and Certified Chef De Cuisine with the American Culinary Federation. She’s taught Culinary Arts for 15 years and has be en with such prominent institutions as The Flying Fish Café, the Disney Institute, Disney’s Culinary Academy and Johnson & Wales University in South Florida. Chef Michelle was named a 2004 Finalist for Educator of the Year. She also earned an induction into Les Amis d’Escoffier Society, a non-profit organization which supports culinary education through scholarships to student chefs and supports students pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. Chef Michelle is the proud recipient of the 2003 Crystal Apple Award, the 2003 Cornerstone Award, and the 2004 Taking it to the Next Level Award. In addition, she recently graced the cover of Orlando Leisure Magazine.
