Certified Executive Chef, Jeff Bacon, a Dietary Manager & Certified Culinary Administrator, serves as the Executive Chef, Program Director and Training Instructor for the Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC. Second Harvest—also known as Feeding America—provides food assistance to 25 million people each year, including nearly nine million children. It is an invaluable non-profit program that provides culinary training for the unemployed and underemployed and it provides meals for those in need.) He is a past president and vice-president of the American Culinary Federation-Triad Chapter and he currently serves as the Southern Region Vice President. He also sits on the National ACF Internal Audit Committee. Chef Jeff has won innumerable culinary arts awards, including the 2002 Triad Chef of the Year Award and the 2005 ACF National Presidents Medallion.
