Chef's Bios

Desmond FanninExecutive Chef Desmond Fannin oversees the daily kitchen operations for the café and executive dining room of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Chef Desmond began his career at the Weather Channel Headquarters and did a stint as Executive Chef of Hewlett-Packard Business Center Perimeter. Chef Desmond’s greatest culinary moment came when he was selected by French-based Sodexo Corporate Services as one of only two chefs to represent the US in Paris, France in order to assist with foodservice for the 2007 World Rugby Cup. He has participated in Real Men Can Cook for Charity, Habitat for Humanity, the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Hunger Walk and Can-Can Ball, as well as Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless. Chef Desmond also has the unique distinction of having served two former Presidents—Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter—when he provided foodservice for the funeral of Mrs. Coretta Scott King.
