altChef Bob Waggoner helms the classically elegant Charleston Grill, repeated recipient of the AAA Four-Diamond Award and the Mobil Four-Star Award. Food and Wine Magazine has listed Chef Bob as readers’ “Favorite Chef in America.” He has received Sante magazine’s “1999 Restaurant Wine & Spirits Chef of the Year,” as well as being listed in the 1999 James Beard Rising Stars of the 21st Century. Chef Bob is also one of the few Americans to be knighted with the "l’Ordre du Merite Agricole" from the government of France. Chef Bob has appeared on countless television shows including “Gourmet Getaways with Robin Leach,” “Great Chefs of the South,” the Food Network’s “In Food Today,” and a series of segments with food reporter Burt Wolf , on The Travel Channel, CNN and PBS stations nationwide.
