The first workshop will be devoted to the art of On-Camera performance, including cold-reading techniques, pantomime, script analysis, voice, diction and all aspects of preparation for Commercials.  Students will develop a working knowledge of what to expect during an audition.  Kids will be filmed reading actual commercial scripts, in order to polish their camera techniques. After each on-camera exercise, students will review their work and get critiqued.

Acting for the Theatre

The second workshop is devoted to the Theatre. Included in this class are techniques in improvisation, character development, team building exercises and history of the Theatre. Participants will learn parts of the stage, how to “score” a scripts, and basic Theatre vocabulary.  As the students explore the boundaries of their imaginations, they will enhance their self-esteem.
