1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix (Prepare as directed)
1 14 oz package Carmel Candies
I stick butter
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 6 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup of chopped nuts
Before starting the cake, melt caramels and butter. When melted add evaporated milk and set aside to cool completely.
Mix cake as directed put 1/2 of batter in 9 x 13" dish and bake for 15 minutes. Cool cake and pour caramel mixture over cake.
Sprinkle nuts and chips over mixture and add remainder of batter on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for another 25 to 30 min.
Serve warm with whip topping or ice cream
