Strawberry Jello Cake

Cooking Method


1 Pkg white cake mix

1 Pkg (3 oz.) strawberry jello

3 Tblsp flour (any kind)




Mix above ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add:

1 cup oil (Wesson, Crisco, or Safflower Oil)

4 eggs

1/2 cup water

Beat together about 2 minutes, add 3/4-cup chopped strawberries.  Pour into 2 9-inch pans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.  (Test with a toothpick to see when done.)


1 stick margarine or butter

1 box powdered confectionery sugar

1/4 cup strawberry juice

Mix well, add milk or more juice if  icing is too thick for easy spreading.

1 Pkg frozen strawberries will make both the cake and the icing.
