Pear and Fig Butter


At a glance

5 pears, peeled, cored, chopped
1 cup figs, chopped
½ cup honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup apple juice


Add all of the ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.  Cool.  When cool to room temperature, puree.
