Peach Croissant Dumplings

Main Ingredient

1 can croissants
2 peaches, cut in fourths
6 tblsp butter
1/2 cup sugar or Splenda
3/4 cup water


Unroll croissants, put 1/4 peach in each one and roll back around peach.
Melt butter with sugar and water.
Bring to boil and pour over croissants

Mix 1/2 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle over top of croissant, I sprinkle with a little nutmeg also.
Bake in a 1-1/2 qt baking dish at 350 degrees for 35 minutes UNCOVERED.
Serve warm.

Apples or other fruit can be substituted for peaches.
