1-1/2 cups milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 loaf French bread, sliced, into 1-inch slices
4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
Lightly coat a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Pour the syrup mixture into the dish.

Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla in a bowl.
Place bread slices on top of apples.
Pour egg mixture on top of bread.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cover baking dish and refrigerate overnight.
Uncover and bake the dish at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until the top is lightly brown.
